Membership Benefits

Membership in Funders Together is open to all funders interested or engaged in funding homelessness and related programming. There is no fee for joining, only a commitment to ending homelessness as described in the Funding Principles for Ending Homelessness. We invite you to join us.

Funders Together to End Homelessness:

• Helps you make the most of your grantmaking investments. Joining our growing network of funders helps inform your grantmaking, focusing it on what works to end homelessness. It also helps ensure that private philanthropy as a whole is moving effectively, efficiently, and strategically toward ending homelessness.
• Provides you with easy access to the latest information. We not only tweet, blog, and post useful content to our website, we host educational webinars, conference workshops, site visits, and other informational events.
• Connects you to important resources, including:
  • Foundation colleagues in your community and across the nation, many of whom have expertise in grantmaking to end homelessness; and
  • Experts and innovators in homelessness, including researchers, policymakers, advocates, and service providers.
• Offers an array of technical assistance services. Our board members are among the most innovative and effective “homelessness” grantmakers in the country and are an important resource for our members. Board members and staff can help you evaluate and improve your homelessness grantmaking efforts, convene local or regional funders’ networks around homelessness, create a communications strategy, connect with policymakers, and more.
• Shares your lessons learned with our members and partners. Information sharing is a two-way street and we want to help you tell your story about works and why in your local community. We will spotlight members on our website, develop and disseminate stories and case studies, and highlight innovations through a variety of channels.
