Participation in Funders Together is available to foundations and corporations supporting strategic and effective grantmaking to end homelessness. While formal membership is restricted to funders, Nonprofit Partners and Public Sector Partners that have been nominated by a Funders Together member are also be eligible to be displayed on our Partner Locator map.

  We need your ideas, your passion, your stories of success, and your voice as we build a national philanthropic movement focused on these solutions.

Foundation Members receive:

• Participation in a national movement of foundations and corporations dedicated to strategic and coordinated grant making to end homelessness and contribution to a collective voice
• A collegial and secure environment for conversations with fellow funders, at both the regional and national level
• Access to complimentary technical assistance services, including a review of your current homelessness grants with suggestions for improvements to get more for your dollar
• Access to case studies and best practices from funders engaged in cutting edge funding to end homelessness
• Facilitation and assistance in convening local or regional conversations with other funders, with access to Funders Together’s national network of ambassadors and experts
• Invitation to participate in three annual national knowledge sharing events:
• May (in conjunction with Council on Foundations annual conference)
• July/August (in conjunction with the National Alliance to End Homelessness’s annual conference)
• November (in conjunction with the Corporation for Supportive Housing’s annual Leadership Forum)
• Specific and targeted opportunities to collaborate and share investment opportunities with regional and national funders
• A chance to share data and knowledge about your national and community support with other funders across the nation and all the benefits of our other members
• Access to contact information for other funders for networking purposes

There is no fee for joining and participating in Funders Together; only a commitment to strategies and activities designed to end homelessness, including those described by the Funding Principles for Ending Homelessness.
